Charging Network

Get On The Network

We were the first private and totally EV dedicated charging company for the UK, Northern Ireland and Ireland. Our ever expanding network of EasyGo Chargers is helping our towns, villages and cities transition from Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Vehicles to Electric Vehicles (EV).

We host and manage access to over 2,400 chargers on the network

EasyGo: 1,050+ | ESB: 1,350+ | Circle K: 20+

EasyGo is one of the largest eMSP network (eMobility Services Providers). We have over 20,000 EV drivers that are subscribers and can access all of these chargers.

PrePay Subscription Account

EasyGo currently offers two types of contracts to individual EV Drivers. There are no subscription costs involved in either of our contracts. You will be automatically subscribed to a prepay account upon registration. This contract consists of purchasing pre-paid credit that you can use on any EasyGo, or any of our roaming partners chargers. You will also be given the option to purchase an EasyGo access fob for £6 at registration. The EasyGo fob is highly recommended and can be used to easily start/stop charging sessions without the need for the mobile application. The cost of each charging session will then be automatically deducted from your EasyGo balance.

Pay As You Go Option

Our Pay As You Go option is for EV Drivers who wish to make a once off transaction via the EasyGo app. Using this option, you will have to pay for each charging session using a debit/credit card. If you intend to charge more than once, we recommend using our prepay subscription. Please call us on 028 9099 7734 if you would like to switch contracts.

Fully compatible with all electric vehicles

Our entire network is Type-1 and Type-2 enabled for full vehicle interoperability.

How fast does my car charge at EasyGo Charge Points?

Charging speed depends on the car’s battery capacity, the battery level at the time of connection, the charging capacity of each car model, the cable used for charging (single-phase or three-phase depending on the model). At AC power stations, a full charge (from 0% to 100%) of an electric car can take an average of 2-4 hours, while at a DC station a charge of 0% to 85% – 90% of the batteries can take an average of 25 minutes.

Do the charges include parking?

Parking is free of charge or billed for, depending on the policy of the management of each car park.

How much does it cost to charge?

EasyGo offers a range of free to use and pay for use chargers. To view pricing information, just tap and select a charger on the EasyGo app. Once a charger is selected, the pricing information will be displayed.

Prices can vary significantly as not all chargers are owned by EasyGo. Make sure to view pricing information before initiating a session.

What cables can be used on the EasyGo Network?

All AC Charge Points have Type 2 sockets, the European standard. Users must have their own Type 2 male charging cable on the side connected to the charging station and depending on their car with the corresponding female plug.

Type 2 examples are – for BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Porsche, SMART, Renault ZOE etc. Type 1 – J1772 – for NISSAN, Peugeot, Citroen Mitsubishi, etc.

Where are the EasyGo charging stations located?

We are constantly adding new charge points to our EasyGo Network. Charger locations can be seen on our map. Our map also contains other EV charging stations – details and locations only.

How do I order a Key Fob for turning on and off a charge point?

Upon registration, you’ll be asked to tick the box if you would like a Key Fob sent out by post. Key fobs will be sent to you within 10 working days. The cost for receiving an extra or replacement Key Fob is £5.00 per fob plus £1.00 postage. Please email us (support@easygo.co.uk) if you require extra fobs for your account or a replacement fob.

Do I need a key fob to use the charging network? If not, why do I need a key fob?

The EasyGo app or the web portal (found by clicking on ‘Access Chargers’) alone can be used to interact with the charging network. However, there are times when wireless connectivity is no available. This is where a key fob, using RFID technology is of benefit as a backup. Secondly, some customers prefer to use the key fobs for charging as they are fast and convenient to use.
